What You'll Do- Provide peer support and encouragement to individuals on their recovery journey.
- Help members identify and build natural support systems.
- Connect members with peer resources, advocacy groups, and community services.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Maine Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification, or ability to obtain provisional certification through CORE training and achieve full certification within 9 months.
- Must have lived experience with mental health recovery and be willing to self-identify in accordance with Maine SAMHS requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, advocacy, and teamwork skills.
- Full-Time, weekday schedule.
- Office and community-based work with occasional remote opportunities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Regular computer use, sitting, standing, walking, and occasional stair climbing.
