We are currently recruiting for an experienced full time Conveyancing Assistant for our Elland office.
In order to be considered for this vacancy you will have experience working on a large conveyancing case load within a fast paced environment, and have previous experience within a Conveyancing Secretary or Conveyancing assistant role. We take pride in our service to clients, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels. This role would be suited to someone who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and agents and really wants to make a name for themselves as being part a leading legal practice.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Be responsible for chasing various documentation, , mortgage offers and responses to correspondence
- Attending to clients, estate agents, Solicitors, and other third parties both on the telephone and in writing to keep them updated on transactions
- Obtaining redemption statements
- Carrying out relevant searches and preparing reports
- Regularly maintain case management systems, internal databases and third party websites and keep them up-to-date in real time
- Ensure clients and further businesses receive the best standard of service as possible
The successful candidate will be able to work well in a busy environment under pressure, have good IT skills and excellent attention to detail.
