Job Summary
We are seeking Temporary Summer Production Workers for our Lewiston, . Positions are short-term, lasting up to 90 days. This role is ideal for summer employment between school terms.
Shift InformationAbility to work any shift including Days, Swing, Weekend Days, and Weekend Swing.
Responsibilities- Learn various positions of the Assembly Operation (load lines, packaging lines, inspection) and rotate through each position as assigned.
- May also perform the duties of an entry‑level Machine Operator.
- Must be available to work schedules as assigned by supervision. No guarantee of a minimum number of hours.
- Maintain good attendance within established standards.
- Follow work instructions to safely produce, assemble, inspect, and package high‑quality CCI/Speer products and components.
- Follow and improve manufacturing processes; document production records and statistics as required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently without continual supervision.
- Must have demonstrated strong work ethic.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Work Environment Requirements
- Reaching, handling and manual dexterity to inspect and package.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good vision required to inspect product quality.
- Exposure to noise, dust and fumes in a manufacturing environment.
- Safety equipment such as protective eyewear and earplugs is required and provided by the company.
- High attentiveness for safety.
- Flexibility to move between jobs and handle tasks simultaneously.
- Potential exposure to hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided.
Pay Rate: $23.06/hr (Pay Range: $23.06 - $25.12). The actual salary offered will be based on experience, geographic location, education and skills, and agreed upon at the time of offer.
