Job Summary
To maintain and keep Plating Baths (and other tanks) in operational condition while following department safety standards
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions
* Check work area every shift to solve any problems including spillage and contamination. Work areas should be clean at all times
* Record the previous day's count on the daily log sheet
* Check lot cards to be sure the previous process has been completed
* Grease all grease fittings on barrels when needed - Wipe off excess grease
* Before Starting:
* Ensure proper PPE is used at all times
* Ensure paperwork is correct
* Ensure the proper caliber is being loaded
* Check parts at correct check times to confirm their progress
* Keep checking parts with scale - If they are within spec, return to barrel to finish, or rinse and dry
* Report any problems to the supervisor for corrective actions.
* Complete any other assigned tasks
Additional Requirements
* Maintain a safe, clean working environment that complies with all safety rules and procedures
* Clean, maintain, repair, and calibrate measuring instruments - Testing equipment such as scales, titration equipment, and other measuring devices.
* Work as a team member within Clearwater Bullets, production, accounting, customer service, procurement, packaging, and shipping.
* Become familiar with the SPC program.
* Load bullets to be cleaned, transferred, plated, and finished.
* Assist with daily duties (titrations, copper anode adding, filter changes, etc.)
* Add chemicals when needed.
* Visually inspect all parts before removing the Kincart form underneath the dryer or finalizing any paperwork - Then move to the staging area
* Make sure to fill out lot card completely with name, tank position, time in, time out, barrel number, initial plater, and finish plater.
* Replace worn or over used parts

* Problem Solving and Time Management Skills
* A Good Eye for Quality Inspection of Cores and Bullets
* Mental and Physical Demands:
Computer use, Standing, Climbing, Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Carrying, Measuring, Noise, Heat/Cold, Atmosphere Exposures
* Great Motor Coordination Skills - Coordination of Eyes, Hands, and Feet
