Eddy Laborer​/Equipment Operator

About the role

The Eddy Current Laborer / Equipment Operator supports the processing and separation of scrap metal and recyclable materials. This position is responsible for operating a forklift and front-end loader, sorting materials, maintaining product quality, and supporting efficient recycling operations. Because this position works independently during the swing shift, successful candidates are self‑motivated, dependable, and able to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks.

• Safely operate a forklift and front-end loader to move, sort, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Sort and separate scrap metal and recyclable materials while maintaining quality standards
• Monitor material flow and assist with the preparation and shipment of processed materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support production goals and efficient material processing
• Communicate operational concerns and work effectively with supervisors and team members
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility

• Previous experience operating both a forklift and front-end loader required
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform physical labor in an industrial environment
