RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• Call responsibilities required one day per week and one weekend per month

• Must have Idaho RN license or multi-state RN license

• ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through American Heart Association)

• 3 years recent OR RN experience in hospital setting required

• Experience with general surgery, DaVinci preferred, orthopedic surgery, robotic knee replacement, trauma, and neuro procedures

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care

• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians and other personnel

• Responsibilities include scheduling cases, ensuring supplies availability, maintaining case timeliness, and family communication

• Update physician preference cards and provide scrubbing and circulating for surgical cases

• Supervise personnel delivering patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards

• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and physician orders

The surgical department handles a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedic procedures, trauma cases, and neurosurgical procedures, utilizing modern equipment including robotic surgical systems.
