Travel ICU Registered Nurse

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU
- Intensive Care Unit for a nursing assignment in Lewiston, Idaho.

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans.
• Delegate tasks to other care providers as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patient families.
• Perform basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patients’ conditions to family members.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for long periods; lift 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Address hazards from chemicals or infectious diseases; treat patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required; at least 3 years of certification.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
