Schedule:
· Full-Time: 80 hours per pay period
·
Hours:
6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
· Call
Schedule:
1 day/week and 1 weekend/month ($4.00/hour while on call)
· Call Back:
Minimum of 2 hours of pay when called in at time & one half
· Shift Differential: (pay is based on the majority of hours worked)
o Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) = 8%
o Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) = 11%
· No Weekend Differential
Responsibilities:· Surgical Assistance:
Provide direct assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures, acting as the first assistant in the operating room.
· Patient Care:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative period, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative support, and post-operative monitoring.
· Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate proficiency in surgical techniques, instrumentation, and aseptic practices.

Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
· Patient
Education:
Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and potential risks and complications.
· Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.

Education:
Associate's degree in Nursing.
· Licensure:
Current RN license in the state of Idaho or eligibility for licensure.
· Certification:
o Proof of completion of an RNFA course.
o Current BLS certification.
o PALS certification within 3 months of hire.

Experience:
3 years of Perioperative RN experience.
· Other:
Must meet requirements to obtain allied health privileges through medical staff credentialing.
