Occupational Health Registered Nurse
Full-time, temporary contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Lewiston, Idaho.
Start ASAP and anticipating lasting 6-12 weeks to cover a leave of absence.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care, injury and illness management, medical surveillance, wellness initiatives, episodic convenience care and assisting with other occupational and environmental health services, as needed, while maintaining a professional and patient-centered approach in an occupational setting.
Shifts- Monday-Friday 1:00pm to 9:00pm
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of Idaho
- Previous experience highly preferred:
Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care,Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting - Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills
- Must be comfortable working autonomously
- Provide onsite treatment / management of injuries and minimize the need for offsite medical treatment
- Give onsite care, first-aid and follow-up to occupationally injured/ill workers
- Ongoing communication with the treating physician regarding employee clinical status
- Support injury prevention through education and ergonomic evaluation
- Help employees prevent injuries and manage pain
- Charting/documentation of careusing EMR system
- Respond to emergencies onsite and provide emergency medical care, as needed
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred
- Must hold currentBLScertification
- 3–5 years’ RN experience required
- High level of initiative and sound independent judgment
