Job Summary:

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lewiston, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for adult patients with varying medical conditions. The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, ECG monitoring, wound care, IV management, and maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team. The position offers a dynamic environment to apply clinical skills while supporting patient safety and comfort.

Details:
  • Schedule:

    Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:

    Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2 years preferred experience in progressive care or intensive care, with at least 1 year of recent experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with EKG monitoring, patient assessment, wound care, and IV management.
  • Additional Information:
    Candidates should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. The unit has 11 beds with patient ratios of 4:1 and uses Meditech EHR. No call requirements. Float to medical-surgical units may be required for patient safety. The position is located on the 4th floor of a trauma level II facility, serving adult patients with diagnoses such as CHF, stroke, COPD, sepsis, and others.
