Retail Sales Associate - Pet​/Feed Deck

Overview

North 40 Outfitters in Lewiston,  looking to hire a 1 Full-Time & 2 PT Pet/Feed Deck Associate to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. As a Pet/Feed Deck Associate, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, generating sales and suggesting products, stocking and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized department and safeguarding company assets.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon–Sat 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

• Provide outstanding customer service and engage with customers to meet their needs
• Generate sales and suggest products to customers
• Stock and merchandise the Pet/Feed Deck area
• Maintain a clean and organized department
• Safeguard company assets
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

• Knowledge of small and large animals in areas of feed, supplements and animal care items preferred
• Ability to frequently lift and move bags of feed
• Forklift certification may be required or pursued
• Previous merchandising experience is helpful
• Ability to educate and assist customers on brands North 40 sells
• Understanding of safe lifting and loading techniques with physical requirements detailed in job description
