Customer Service Specialist – Seasonal Floater

The Customer Service Specialist
- Floater provides coverage for stores based on staffing needs, such as PTO, vacant positions, or training schedules. This role is the first point of contact for our Stinker customers and acts as a brand ambassador while traveling between various locations within a designated area; with the understanding that schedules may change daily. The floater’s mission is to provide scent-sational customer service, help with kitchen duties (when applicable), and maintain cleanliness and safety.

With their help, guests always feel welcome and leave with pep in their step, all while supporting our retail teams! This role is a seasonal position, offering up to 5 months of employment (may vary based on location needs).

Benefits
  • Competitive Pay with merit-based raises.
  • Extra $0.50/hour paid to all team members working from 10pm-6am because late-night legends like you deserve a little bonus!
  • Access to the Daily Pay app so you can access your hard-earned cash whenever life strikes, in advance of regular paydays.
  • 6 paid holidays a year, and if you do work on a holiday, you get time and half as a thank you!
  • Referral Rewards you can earn cash by referring friends to join the Stinker team, if your friend gets hired!
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help you with life’s challenges - whether it’s managing stress, tackling financial issues, or navigating legal questions, the EAP provides support.
What You’ll Do
  • Roll up your sleeves and dive into the (wildly busy) summer season, offering extra support to keep our Stinker Store teams sane and ensure smooth operations!
  • Provide scent-sational customer service by creating a welcoming environment, assisting customers with their needs, and answering questions.
  • Cash out orders with precision, processing payments accurately when handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Keep the store smelling like roses by tidying up restrooms, cooler interiors and exteriors, parking lots, fuel islands, equipment, food service areas, shelves, and storage.
  • Freshen up fuel dispensers, nozzles, windshield washer buckets, signage, while ensuring the parking lot and interior floors remain free of debris and spills.
  • Stay ahead of the stink by adhering to the Safety Manual and promptly reporting any incidents, using appropriate safety signage when needed.
  • Keep merchandise front and center by stocking, facing, rotating, and maintaining accurate pricing.
  • Stick to the HACCP guidelines like a pro, including verification and documentation of product – nothing slips past you!
  • Keep food safe and sound by following health and safety guidelines - no spills, no thrills, just proper storage and handling.
  • Operate kitchen gadgets while following safety expectations - there won’t be any missing fingers on our watch!
What You’ll Need
  • Excellent communication skills; read and write in English.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking and meeting deadlines (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).
  • Solution focused thinking – You get 5 minutes to complain, then we kick tail!
  • In the retail world, one minute it’s slow and the next…
