LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE-FT in LEWISTON, MN S16924

The Lead Sales Associate helps maintain a clean, well‑organized store with a customer‑first focus. The role includes assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers as needed.
• Receive, open, and unpack boxes, cartons, and totes of merchandise; stock, restock, rotate merchandise on shelves, and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and stockroom, and set up sidewalk displays.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under instructions from the Store Manager.
• Perform additional duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash register operations, cash handling procedures, and deposit control.
• Ability to drive a vehicle to the bank for deposits.
• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Handling merchandise and equipment, including handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, dollies, and rolltainers.
• Proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds.
• Occasional climbing using a step ladder up to six feet.
• Fast‑paced environment with moderate noise level.
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Occasional or regular driving to make bank deposits or attend management meetings.

New Hire Starting Pay Range: $13.50 – $13.75 per hour.
