Job Overview
Route Sales Representative at Admiral Beverage Corporation – Primary location:
Lewiston, Idaho.
Admiral Beverage is the exclusive distributor of Pepsi and other top brands. In this role you will drive sales growth, build strong relationships with clients, and promote a diverse range of high‑quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers, solicit orders, and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales contracts, negotiate terms, and close sales.
- Coordinate vehicle operation, maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Lead and coordinate sales meetings, preparing agendas and ensuring effective communication.
- Ensure products are rotated on a “first‑in, first‑out” basis in accordance with supplier requirements.
- Establish professional customer rapport through strategic selling approaches.
- Account for all cash/credit proceeds, inventory movements, and company assets.
- Conduct business reviews, demonstrate products and services, use samples and marketing resources to emphasize product features.
- Arrange product displays, place signage, and maintain compliant shelf placement according to planograms.
- Manage product reorders to prevent stockouts, originate display ideas, and assemble display aids using POS materials.
- Estimate delivery and pickup schedules based on production and delivery timelines.
- Prepare transactional reports and maintain expense records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear required safety equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Valid driver’s license and meeting company driver qualifications.
- Familiarity with delivery, sales, and territory responsibilities.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school preferred.
- Availability for early‑morning starts (typically 5–7AM) and weekend flexibility.
- Proven reliability and strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move cases up to 50lb and handle kegs when needed.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor when representing the company and brands.
- Previous experience in a similar route sales role strongly desired.
