PT Security Guard, Weekend Swing Shift - CCI​/Speer

DUTIES

Security Guard duties to protect employees, facilities, and plant assets at the Lewiston location.

• Conduct foot or vehicle-assisted patrols of the plant, parking lots, and surrounding area.
• Perform fire watch during rounds and use fire extinguishers to put out small, incipient-type fires.
• Investigate vehicle or traffic accidents and document any mechanical faults or illegal entry.
• Check doors, windows, gates, and badges of employees accessing the plant to ensure proper locking and authorized entry.
• Conduct random searches of vehicles and employees entering and exiting the plant and document any infractions (loitering, trespassing, smoking, carrying forbidden articles).
• Issue parking violations, observe suspicious activity, and escort employees off plant with leadership or law enforcement when necessary.
• Assist in handling workplace violence scenarios and provide support during emergency incidents.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Basic mathematics skills and ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Must be trained in threat response within 90 days of employment.
• Must be certified in First Aid/CPR within 6 months of hire.
• Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Must not be prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under applicable law.
• Successful candidates must complete a post‑employment ATF background check and receive a letter of clearance.
• Exposure to hazardous areas, flammables, or explosives is anticipated; safety training will be provided.

Part‑time – 24 hours per week, weekend swing shift:
Saturday and Sunday 6:00pm to 6:00am at the Lewiston plant.

• Hourly rate: $16.26 – $17.51 (pay range may vary by experience and location).
