LC State Department of Public Safety – Part‑time Security Officer
Part‑time Security Officer, up to 20 hours per week. All shifts are available.
Hourly Rate$15.00 - $16.00
Qualifications- Must be able to pass a background check, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather, be on their feet for up to eight hours.
- Must lift 40 pounds and respond quickly in emergencies.
- Ability to make quick sound decisions and apply common sense in a calm and professional manner in emergencies.
- Dependable; trustworthy; excellent communication skills both verbal and written; able to follow directions.
- Works well alone or in a team setting; customer service skills; affable; observant; takes pride in this responsibility to our campus community.
