About The Role

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with fiber optic installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines and telecommunications systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and address potential issues.
- Respond to emergency outages and perform troubleshooting to restore services promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while working at heights.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion.
The required skills for this position include technical proficiency in electrical systems and the ability to work safely will utilize problem‑solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions during outages. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and coordinating with other departments. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of fiber optics, will enhance your ability to work on diverse projects and expand your expertise.
