** Clarkston, WA - Pay:**$34.00/HR
- Schedule:
** Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
We are hiring an experienced Diesel Fleet Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet including semi-trucks, loaders, forklifts, pickups, and company vehicles. This position is ideal for a skilled diesel technician who enjoys diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairing a variety of diesel-powered equipment.
Must-Haves- Diesel Technician Certificate
- Fleet maintenance experience with semi-trucks, loaders, forklifts, and light-duty vehicles
- CDL preferred
- Perform maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks, loaders, forklifts, cars, and pickups
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, transmission, A/C, and air brake systems
- Review work orders and determine repair requirements
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing
- Repair or replace engines, brakes, transmissions, and other mechanical components
- Complete preventative maintenance services including oil changes, brake checks, and inspections
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and field service calls as needed
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance
- Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory documentation
- Diesel Technician Certificate required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with diesel engines and fleet maintenance programs
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmissions, air brakes, and A/C systems
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and repair information
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs efficiently
- Fleet maintenance experience
- Semi-truck repair experience
- Heavy equipment maintenance experience
- CDL preferred
- Preventative maintenance and diagnostics experience
- Ability to lift heavy parts and components as needed
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working around equipment
- Ability to work in shop and field environments
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment for testing purposes
