Medical Inventory Specialist
Location: Lewiston,
Pay: $18.00/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-3:00 PM | 25-35 hours per week
We are hiring a detail-oriented
Medical Inventory Specialist to support hospital inventory, supply distribution, and warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with inventory, following established procedures, and helping ensure hospital departments have the supplies they need.
This role involves a combination of inventory management, stocking, order fulfillment, warehouse support, and supply distribution within a healthcare environment.
Must-Haves- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and schedules
- Unload supply deliveries from trucks
- Scan, stock, and organize inventory
- Process and fill manual and POS supply orders
- Deliver supplies and equipment throughout the hospital
- Monitor inventory levels and restock departments and crash carts
- Review reports and identify replenishment needs
- Dispose of packaging materials including cardboard and plastic
- Maintain accurate inventory records and inventory control procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Reliable, dependable, and proactive
- Ability to follow processes and procedures consistently
- Inventory control or stocking experience
- Warehouse or material handling experience
- Medical supply or healthcare experience preferred
- Shipping, receiving, or supply distribution experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Push and pull stocked supply racks throughout the facility
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable climbing stairs and transporting supplies between departments
- Ability to perform physical work for the duration of the shift
- Consistent weekday schedule
