Responsible for reconciling accounts, Elan card oversight, and other accounting duties.

• Daily reconciliation of Federal Reserve account and weekly/monthly proofs of other correspondent bank accounts.
• Daily reconciliations in Check Reconciliation System.
• Set up fixed assets.
• Weekly/monthly reconciliations and monthly block postings of prepaids and accruals.
• Support internal customers regarding foreign wire and currency.
• Balance interoffice and follow up on outdated tickets.
• Assist employees, vendors, clients, or external customers by answering questions related to accounts and services.
• Post descriptions to income and expense postings made at the teller line.
• Share responsibility with Financial Reporting Accountant to produce several monthly reports and reconciliations.
• Oversee Bank’s Corporate Card program by reviewing all employee transactions, ensuring accuracy, securing proper documentation, and overseeing posting of all items.
• Support Financial Reporting Accountant with maintaining and creating reports for the department as needed.
• Maintain the FTE report.
• Comply with all banking laws, regulations, privacy, and acceptable use policies and protect customer information and institution assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles and experience with bank reporting and regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with multiple computer applications (word processing, spreadsheet, database management software, coding data‑based reports).
• Detail‑oriented work with high accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and complete work timely.
