*** Hourly rate includes a $3.00 shift premium for front line member contact. Start pay is $22.76 plus $3.00 shift premium. Upon successful completion of your Introductory Period you will receive a $0.50 raise.

About the Role

As a Service Center Coordinator
, you are responsible for a variety of member service related activities. This is a high contact position that requires the ability to effectively assist members by telephone, Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), Video Banking, in writing and via Internet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming telephone, ITM, and Video Banking calls timely and satisfy the caller’s needs when feasible.
  • Provide support for online banking, Visa cards, and member accounts.
  • Process account maintenance requests and assist with financial transactions.
  • Educate members on credit union products and services, identifying opportunities to cross-sell.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with additional duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record during scheduled hours.
  • Answer all incoming telephone, ITM, and Video Banking calls timely and satisfy the caller’s needs when feasible.
  • Provide prompt, efficient and accurate services to members and staff.
  • Assist members and potential members with problems and inquiries about their accounts, statements, etc.
  • Strive for a one call resolution environment by processing loans and new accounts to improve member retention and Credit Union growth.
  • Place outgoing sales calls to create additional opportunities for member service and Credit Union growth.
  • Read and respond to all electronic messages sent by a member through various mediums such as, but not limited to, website, online banking, mobile app, email and bill pay.
  • Actively promote the credit union and cross sell products and services to members by offering products that improve the Credit Union and increase the relationship with members.
  • Perform routine member account maintenance, and provides back-up for other administrative positions.
  • Cross train other employees in department responsibilities and functions.
  • Balance ITM’s accurately; there must be a $0 balance in Symitar at the end of the shift.
  • Identify member loan needs by reviewing loan products and rates and answering questions.
  • Assist in the resolution of problems and issues.
  • Refer non-standard requests or issues to a Supervisor for assistance as needed.
  • Respond to changes in organizational needs in a positive and professional manner, performing other tasks as needed.
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Incumbent must possess excellent oral, written, and organizational skills along with the capability to multitask.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Must be flexible with coverage and able to work in a high pressure, team-oriented environment.
