Endocrinologist

Position Overview

Prime Healthcare and Central Maine Medical Center are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a growing program in Lewiston, Maine. This opportunity allows practitioners to work in a collaborative, physician-focused environment while serving a broad regional patient population across central Maine.

• Diagnose and manage common endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, and metabolic conditions
• Provide outpatient clinic care
• Develop and implement treatment plans focused on long-term disease management
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists
• Educate patients on lifestyle modification, medication management, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

• MD or DO degree, with completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
