This facility provides specialized outpatient rheumatology services through a telehealth platform, with onsite support staff available during all scheduled visits. The facility maintains structured clinical workflows and the resources necessary to support locum tenens clinicians on assignment. Coverage is sought on an ongoing basis, with a minimum availability requirement of two weeks per month.

Maine is defined by approximately 3,500 miles of coastline, extensive forests, and varied terrain that support a range of outdoor pursuits throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment may explore activities such as hiking, kayaking, whale watching, skiing, and windjammer cruises, alongside coastal communities offering access to lighthouses, wildlife refuges, and Acadia National Park. The western lakes and mountains region provides additional options for fishing, biking, and scenic drives, complemented by cultural amenities and local culinary experiences centered on seafood.

The rheumatologist will provide general outpatient rheumatology services via telehealth on a day shift schedule. Clinical responsibilities focus on the evaluation and management of rheumatologic conditions for an adult patient population. Onsite support staff are available to facilitate telehealth encounters throughout all scheduled visits. This assignment requires a minimum availability of two weeks per month, with no call or weekend coverage required.
