* The Associate Director possesses or will quickly develop a strong understanding of the non-academic experiences required for successful medical school and other pre-health program admission, to best advise Bates applicants. This includes cultivating relationships with current professionals in healthcare, behavioral sciences and STEM related careers to create and maintain job shadow, internship and job opportunities for Bates students and alumni.
* The Associate Director develops and utilizes electronic communications to communicate information on medical, health, and science topics, internships, and jobs to students and alumni.
General Advising:
* The Associate Director will demonstrate experience in the career and intellectual development of undergraduates enrolled in a selective liberal arts and sciences program.
