Hands at Home Care Services is hiring Full-Time Caregivers in the Portland and surrounding areas
. This is a guaranteed-hours position — if a client shift cancels,
you still get paid
.

• Guaranteed 25 hours/week — no lost income
• $25/hour
• Mileage paid at $0.725/mile
• Paid training, shadowing, or office support if client hours fall short
• Supportive scheduling & supervision — you’re never on your own
• Variety without chaos — planned coverage and advance notice whenever possible

As a Full-Time Caregiver
, you’ll provide:

• Personal care and assistance with daily activities
• Companionship and light homemaking
• Coverage support for clients when regular caregivers are unavailable

This role is ideal for caregivers who:

• Enjoy variety and meeting different clients
• Want reliable income without worrying about cancellations
• Are comfortable traveling within a defined service area

When client hours are light, you’ll still be paid through training, shadowing, or support work to meet your weekly guarantee.

• Weekdays with occasional weekends
• Hours generally between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• At least 25 hours/week guaranteed (with potential for more)
• Occasional daytime backup availability (paid and fully supported — no overnight on-call)
• Major holidays off

• Portland and surrounding service area
• Most assignments are local;
  occasional longer drives may occur
• Mileage reimbursed at $0.725/mile

• Are reliable and show up when scheduled
• Communicate clearly with clients and our team
• Are flexible and enjoy helping where needed
• Take pride in providing respectful, compassionate care

• Are looking for a single, fixed client only
• Prefer no travel between assignments
• Are unable to commit to a steady weekly schedule

(We include this so everyone’s time is respected.)

• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or facility)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
• Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Flu within past 12 months)

• $25/hour (guaranteed minimum 25 hrs/week)
• Mileage: $0.725/mile
