Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated health care delivery system serving 400,000 people in central, western, and Midcoast Maine, with facilities including Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital.
Responsibilities- Fill clerical and material management duties.
- Support the Patient Transport process.
- Perform multiple duties requiring expertise in assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration, and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment.
- Maintain equipment in respiratory work areas and assist Respiratory Therapists with procedures and tasks as directed.
- Cleaning, assembly, calibration, troubleshooting, and transport of Respiratory Therapy equipment.
- Unpacking deliveries of supplies.
- Stocking shelves.
- Checking and restocking code carts as needed.
- Stocking oxygen cylinders daily.
- High school graduate.
- Currently enrolled as a first‑year student in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in respiratory equipment handling; may be trained to assemble, troubleshoot, and assist with bedside bronchoscopy services.
- High school graduate.
- First‑year respiratory therapy student or similar.
- BLS certification or acquire within first 6 months of employment.
- Proficient in respiratory equipment handling; may receive training for bronchoscopy equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Ability to engage patients and team members using CMH Experience Standards.
