As the organization expands its audiology services, they are seeking a patient-focused Hearing Aid Specialist in the Lewiston, ME area to play a key role in rebuilding and growing this important department.

Following the recent acquisition of a local audiology group, the organization is investing in expanding and strengthening its audiology services to better serve patients statewide.
Role Overview :As a Hearing Aid Specialist, you will focus primarily on delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to the growth and development of the audiology department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, building long-term relationships, and being part of a growing, mission-driven healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:Patient Care & Clinical Services
- Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings
- Perform hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care
- Provide counseling and education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
- Build strong, long-term patient relationships
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and retention
- Work closely with internal teams to support referral growth
- Assist with community outreach and patient education initiatives
- Contribute to department goals and performance tracking
- Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist (Maine licensure or eligible)
- Strong clinical and technical competency in hearing aid fitting and programming
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a growing department
- Passion for serving patients within a mission-driven organization
- Base salary plus commission or flat salary negotiable
