Pharmacist, Healthcare

• Review and checking prescriptions to ensure that there are no errors
• Providing advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity
• Ensuring medicines are stored appropriately and securely
• Monitoring of lab reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug-drug interaction, and duplication of same class
• Provide drug and poison information to medical & para medical staff
• Dispensing of control drug
• Preparation and dosage changing
• Supervision of pharmacy technician and porter related job
• Resolve issues when they arise and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
• Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards
• Management of Pharmaceutical preparations
• Make Preparations according to prescriptions and good practice of preparation rule
• Checking of expiry date of medications
• Rotate through all work areas of the pharmacy.

• Pharm-D / Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy.
• A minimum of 2-year experience in pharmacy field. Candidates having knowledge of drug management and sterile and non-sterile preparation will be given preference.
• Proven experience as Pharmacist
• Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
• Successful completion of a Faculty of Pharmacy
• Good knowledge and understanding of pharmacy
• Effective team player
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity
• Excellent communication in English and national languages.
• Good Knowledge of Computers (Ms. Office).
