Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a dayshift Post Acute Long Term Care position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least two years of nursing experience.

Job Details

• Work in a post-acute setting with long-term care and skilled nursing facility units,

• Units include a specialized Alzheimer's/dementia unit, a 42-bed transitional rehabilitation unit, and a 42-bed general long-term care unit,

• Patient populations include residents with Alzheimer's/dementia, individuals requiring short-term rehabilitation after surgery or injury, and long-term care residents,

• Nursing services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management,

• Day shifts are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm,

• Flexibility to float to other units as needed is required,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in ME or a compact state,

• Associate degree in Nursing required,

• Minimum of two years prior RN experience in a similar setting,

• Current BLS/BCLS certification required,

• Strong teamwork and communication skills required,

• Experience caring for Alzheimer's/dementia residents preferred,

• Previous employment with the facility is not accepted,

• Candidates with licensure issues will not be considered,
