3 east is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with alzheimers/dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. Key aspects of this unit are the use of both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, understanding the difficult behaviors that are sometimes associated with residents that have alzheimer's/dementia, as well as understanding that these behaviors can be valid communications. It provides needed care to those residents needing long term placement in a home-like environment.

the transitional rehabilitation unit occupies the second floor of d'youville pavilion. This 42-bed unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other illnesses or injuries of a short-term nature where a rehab approach might be beneficial. Nursing services often include iv therapy, wound care and geriatric assessment and management.

3 west is a 42-bed ltc, in home-like environment
