Requirements:
- Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course
- Active on Maine CNA registry
- Graduate of Maine State-approved Certified Medication Administration program
- At least 1 year of previous CNA experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications via various routes (oral, topical, vaginal, rectal, and inhalation).
- Document all medications given, omitted, or refused.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and mealtimes.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents.
Compliance / Notes:
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
