Overview

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The Behavioral Health Supervisor is responsible for overall program management, operations, clinical coordination and supervision of full‑time clinicians and trainees when appropriate, providing support and direction to the clinical and clerical staff regarding behavioral health workflows and scheduling needs, managing the referral queue, and serving as a primary point of contact for other system departments. The Supervisor spends 50% of their time providing clinical services to the patient population of Family Medicine Residency, including individual and group psychotherapy and substance abuse treatment.

• Master’s degree in a health care field eligible for licensing.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Completed a minimum of sixty (60) hours of alcohol and drug education within the last five (5) years.
• State licensure as an LADC, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, preferred.
• Five years’ experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment setting, preferred.
• Two years’ experience supervising in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting, preferred.
