Therapeutic Counselor

Provides counseling to individuals and families using various therapeutic approaches to address issues such as depression, addiction, stress, and self-esteem.

Performs assessments on mental status, personality, and behavioral responses.

Delivers individual counseling, family psychotherapy, and facilitates group sessions.

Participates in treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team and collaborates with staff, families, and insurance providers regarding treatment progress.

Completes documentation including service summaries, billing, and evaluation reports while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to accreditation standards.

Provides supervision and activities for program participants and actively participates in crisis intervention.

• Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field
• Two years of relevant experience
• LCPC / LPC licensure required
• Strong communication, listening, and empathetic skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and exercise sound judgment

• Conduct therapeutic interventions and assessments
• Support treatment planning and progress documentation
• Facilitate group counseling and provide family support
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Participate in crisis intervention and ongoing training
