Trauma Program Manager

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an experienced and driven Trauma Program Manager to lead and advance a high-quality trauma program that makes a real difference in the lives of our patients and communities. Responsibilities include coordinating resources and activities necessary to ensure the Trauma Services meets regulatory requirements. The Trauma Manager coordinates the collection of Trauma data and maintains statistical information for the Trauma Registry. The Trauma Manager coordinates the tracking of Trauma patients throughout the Trauma system (pre-hospital to rehabilitation). The Trauma Manager coordinates trauma educational programs for the institution as well as public education and prevention programs in the community.

Teaching and coordination of educational program experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative relationship with other health care members in the promotion and provision of comprehensive patient care. Communication/writing skills, considerable emotional/physical/mental stamina and stability.

Qualifications include a current and valid state RN License, current BLS (AHA), current ACLS (AHA), TNCC, ENPC and CEN or CCRN preferred, a minimum of three years experience in an acute care hospital environment, excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills, a team approach to patient care, working knowledge of computers and computer applications, day and evening flexibility required, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
