Responsibilities
  • Operate the bottle filler and capper, decasing process, and/or case packing operation. Safely operate equipment, troubleshoot problems, changeover equipment, perform quality checks, and conduct basic maintenance tasks. Guide temporary employees on safety, quality, and operations in the area.
  • Understand and comply with safety requirements of the work area and keep safety top of mind during operation, maintenance, parts changing, and equipment setup. Report safety concerns, accidents, and near misses immediately; participate in plant safety programs and inspections. Keep the workplace clean and free of debris.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service by ensuring the Bottling Department meets daily production goals while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Reference resources (WI’s and SOPs) to uphold safety, quality, and food safety standards. Perform equipment changeovers to maintain the production schedule.
  • Adhere to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies. Own the Standard Operating Procedure for bottling line positions and perform in accordance with standards. Seek ways to improve performance and quality-driven actions. Maintain work area and facility to established standards. Ensure customer satisfaction by assuring quality finished product and internal customer service. Include daily maintenance tasks such as inspection, lubrication, and equipment setup.
  • Seek ongoing improvements as measured by departmental KPIs. Adhere to SOPs and best practices to ensure maximum quality for bottling lines and customer service. Generate ideas to improve daily bottling processes. Optimize resources to improve quality inspections, labeling, and general machine operation. Communicate interdepartmentally; meet financial objectives by controlling cost and waste without sacrificing quality.
  • Perform duties of bottling technician including all tasks related to the bottling line (case feeding, quality inspection, case packing, labeling). Complete all documentation and inspections accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • MUST
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Good physical health; able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, and squat
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good vision and manual dexterity
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment as required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
  • PREFERRED
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
