Assist supervisors in the operations of shift production. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on‑job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
Position Responsibilities- Ensure that production employees are instructed and trained in the safe operations of equipment.
- Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials; perform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
- Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
- Operate the facility metal detector(s) if certified.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings.
- Occasionally work in place of employees out sick, on vacation, etc.
- Plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of production.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area.
- Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.).
- Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
- Complete AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course.
- Perform other duties deemed an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Four or more years of experience in all areas of plant production work.
EssentialJob Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
SalarySalary range: $29.65 per hour.
