DescriptionThis position works in the CLOTHING AREA. Receives, unpacks, processes various products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnpacks, sorts, and prepares products for distribution as assigned. Marks, de-labels, and prices product as directed by supervisor. Checks products for damage, wear, and discrepancies. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins as directed by supervisor.
Moves materials and items from processing to shipping or other designated areas. Opens bales, crates and other containers to prepare for processing. Assists in counting of physical inventory. Records/counts items for distribution as directed by supervisor. May be assigned light facilities maintenance duties as needed. Sweeps, dusts, and mops; keeps work area neat and safe at all times. Wears proper safety equipment.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Some knowledge of merchandise or willingness to learn about merchandise merchandising.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract six‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, and use hand to finger handling, or feel, reach with hands and arms up to 90% of the time. Kneels, stoops, crouches, talks and hears.
The employee must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds up to 80% of the time and lift or move 40 pounds 20% of the time. Anything over 40 pounds requires a team lift or mechanical assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Note:
Ability to safely operate a manual pallet jack, forklift or other motorized equipment after adequate training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to dust, mildew, mold, and smoke‑damaged merchandise. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
