Job Summary:
The RN provides comprehensive nursing care to residents and patients across various units, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and home-like environment. This role involves collaborating with care teams to deliver skilled nursing services tailored to each unit's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer direct and indirect patient care in accordance with care plans and professional standards.
- Monitor and document residents' conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Assist with assessments, wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration.
- Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient needs.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Hold an active, valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
- Possess 1-3 years of previous RN experience, preferably in LTC or SNF settings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
- Capable of working flexible hours, including 24/7 coverage and unit floating.
- Possess an associate degree in nursing or higher qualification.
