IDEAL NNP OPPORTUNITY!
Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina!

Responsibilities

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full‑time neonatal nurse practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level‑I Nursery, at Caro Mont Regional Medical Center‑Belmont
, scheduled to open late 2024.

About the Practice

  • This Level‑I unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year.
  • An average daily census of about 5 newborns.
  • NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and taking call from home.
  • Practitioners will stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for higher‑level care.
  • The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs; the sister Level‑III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5‑6 NNPs is located at Caro Mont Regional Medical Center‑Gastonia, only 7 miles away.
  • Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the Level‑III NICU in Gastonia may be possible, but are not required for this Level‑I position.

Qualifications
  • Current APRN national specialty certification.
  • Minimum of a master’s degree.
