IDEAL NNP OPPORTUNITY!
Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina!
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full‑time neonatal nurse practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level‑I Nursery, at Caro Mont Regional Medical Center‑Belmont
, scheduled to open late 2024.
About the Practice
- This Level‑I unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year.
- An average daily census of about 5 newborns.
- NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and taking call from home.
- Practitioners will stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for higher‑level care.
- The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs; the sister Level‑III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5‑6 NNPs is located at Caro Mont Regional Medical Center‑Gastonia, only 7 miles away.
- Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the Level‑III NICU in Gastonia may be possible, but are not required for this Level‑I position.
- Belmont Medical Center is located just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 8 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
- Caro Mont Health has been recognized, including being named one of Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospital s.
- Current APRN national specialty certification.
- Minimum of a master’s degree.
