A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) care is sought for a facility located in Lewiston, ME. The position involves providing high-quality care on a Med‑Surg/Telemetry unit with a focus on telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment begins on June 10, 2026, and involves night shifts.

  12‑hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  BLS or BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred; at least 2 years of experience in telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and medical management of diagnoses such as diabetes mellitus and pneumonia, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, and urology.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Bariatric experience is preferred.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required to all inpatient units.
• Additional Information:
  • Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
  • Management of dysrhythmias is required.
  • The unit has 37 beds, with equipment including specialty beds (bariatrics), wound vacs, prevena.vacs, Baxter IV pumps.
  • EMR systems include Omnicell and Cerner.
  • Bariatric patient care experience is valued.
  • An Ultrasound IV Team works from 7 AM to 10 PM, assisting with IV placements as needed.
