Job Summary
The RN and LPN partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Key aspects of this unit are the use of both verbal and non‑verbal communication techniques, understanding the difficult behaviors that are sometimes associated with residents who have Alzheimer’s/Dementia, and recognizing that these behaviors can be valid communication.

This 42‑bed unit provides short‑term, skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other short‑term illnesses or injuries where a rehab approach is beneficial.
