Job Summary
The RN and LPN partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include 3 East—an 31‑bed specialized unit working with Alzheimer’s/dementia residents and tailoring care to meet their needs; 3 West—a 42‑bed long‑term care unit; and the Transitional Rehabilitation Unit—a 42‑bed short‑term unit providing skilled nursing, IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, or other short‑term illnesses or injuries.
Qualifications- Education:
Associates in Nursing; valid State of Maine or compact RN license. - Experience:
1–3 years previous RN. Medical terminology preferred. - Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
- Ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
- Flexibility required to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
