Travel NICU Registered Nurse

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine.

The position involves providing high‑quality neonatal care within a Level III maternity trauma unit on a busy LDRP unit. It is a nine‑week rotation with possible night shifts and requires a commitment to delivering comprehensive inpatient care to neonatal and maternity patients.

• Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12 hours), rotating nights with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Manage a couplet assignment, triage obstetrical patients, administer medications, assist with deliveries, perform newborn assessments, and conduct postpartum procedures.
• Provide care in a unit with 3–24 patients and a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.
• Use EPIC Electronic Health Record system.

• Valid RN license.
• Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• 0+ years of experience in neonatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, or maternal/baby care.

• Experience in Level I Nursery, Mother/Baby, or circulating for C‑Sections.
• Knowledge of obstetrical triage and use of external fetal heart monitoring (EFM).

Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
