Job Description:
This 9-week assignment places you in a Level II NICU on a bustling LDRP unit within a busy maternity ward. As a registered nurse, you’ll be responsible for managing a diverse patient population that includes neonates and adults, with the unique opportunity to handle a variety of obstetrical and neonatal care tasks. Expect to work rotating 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care and support during crucial hours of the day.
The role involves triaging obstetrical patients, utilizing external fetal heart monitoring, initiating IV starts, and assisting with deliveries and c-sections. This assignment is ideal for nurses experienced in L&D, postpartum, and nursery care who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy hands‑on procedural work, including newborn assessments and pain management. You’ll have the chance to hone your skills in a supportive setting that values clinical expertise and adaptability, all while experiencing the often‑quiet magic of night shift hours in a lively hospital.
