• Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to children and adolescents ages 6–18 on an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Administer prescribed medications, educate patients and families, and document care accurately.
• Monitor and manage behaviors, respond to crises, and follow safety protocols for a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric population.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient‑centered care, including leading education groups.
• Participate in and, as needed, lead patient and family education sessions; support unit‑wide care activities.
• Be willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox as needed to meet unit needs.

• Active Maine RN license.
• BLS certification; CPI training preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1–3 years nursing experience; minimum 1 year; adults experience preferred.
• CPI trained; demonstrated ability to manage stress and maintain professional boundaries.
• Willingness to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox; strong communication with patients, families and the care team.
• Maine residency outside a 50‑mile radius of Lewiston is required.
