Description:
The RN partners with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.
The primary unit specializes in caring for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, tailoring care to meet their unique needs.
Key aspects of this role include the use of verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and understanding the behaviors associated with Alzheimer's and dementia.
The position provides needed care to those requiring long-term placement in a home-like environment.
Another unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from various conditions, including fractures and strokes.
Nursing services include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.
A long-term care unit also provides necessary care for residents in need of long-term placement.
An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility may substitute for the above requirements.
Candidates will not be considered if they have licensure hits in their background.
