Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights, 7 am to 7 pm
The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN will assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay, administer IV medications, provide patient education, and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.
- Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay.
- Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood as needed.
- Provide patient education and document care actions.
- Work in charge nurse and preceptor roles as required.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Must not have previous employment with St. Mary's.
- Travelers with hits/actions on License/Background will not be accepted.
