American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department offering a full spectrum of emergency care
• Includes a separate Chest Pain Center
• Night shift schedule (7a-7p)
• 13-week assignment length
• May be required to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed

• Active RN license (Maine or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
• Must not have any actions or hits on license or background

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit
• Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
• Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
• Previous employees of this facility are not eligible to apply
