Registered Nurse – LTC​/SNF

Job Summary:

The RN position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility. The role emphasizes creating a safe, therapeutic environment through direct and indirect patient care tailored to each unit's specific needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents on various units, including specialized dementia care, rehab services, and long-term care.
• Assess residents’ conditions, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with care teams and communicate effectively to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy and wound care, as required.
• Document all care activities accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Support residents’ emotional and physical well-being by understanding behavioral cues and delivering person-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active, valid Maine or compact RN license.
• Possess 1-3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and flexibility skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and float between units as needed.
• Be willing to work a 24/7 schedule, including weekends and holidays.
