Registered Nurse – LTC​/SNF

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to residents in various units, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and home-like environment. The nurse collaborates with care teams to deliver both direct and indirect care tailored to residents' individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess residents' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor and document residents' responses to interventions and communicate updates to the care team.
• Provide support and education to residents and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including care providers, therapists, and physicians.
• Float to different units as needed to ensure seamless resident care coverage.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
• Possess an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Have 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Exhibit proficiency in medical terminology (preferred).
• Be flexible and able to work a 24/7 coverage schedule, including floating to different units.
